does anybody have a part number or can get one for the SR20VET turbo? i want to know what it is!!! (280ps) sounds interesting, its funny cause i have not heard a thing about this motor- its injectors, accessories, head , intake and exhaust manifold or -- turbo... i am trying to make an educated guess that the turbo is a garett unit and is somthing like a T4 with a small turbine housing. (T28?) to keep the spool going factory style. if anybody has anything interesting to add on this, lets get it posted

SR20VET- Nissans most powerful factory 4 cylinder! and its an SR baby!! (except for maybe the FJ, but hey,its family! http://www.freshalloy.com/

check out ebay. One guy is selling a T28 off a sunny GTi-R. I put my max bid at $300 and dont mind if i lose. His reserve is $320 so i would make an educated guess on that. The T28 should give you about 30-40 rwhp over the T25.

Later.

yeah aubrey, i know you were bidding on it, i would deffintly try to end it early for 320.00 or 300 http://www.freshalloy.com/ its a sweet turbo, i've used it and it deffinetly does the job!!!

but back to the original topic, i cannot find any info, maybe srfiveten or demon can help uncover this little mystery of mine

if you guys can just post a part number, i will work on getting the garret part numbers so that we can build our own - if it looks worthwile and can work with our no VET heads. (somehow i have a feeling that the turbo will hall short somehow, if it was matched to our different cams)

anyhoo, those are just guesses, i am on the case!

not exactly a satisfying result, but my search for some data on sr20vet turned up an interesting info.

i know most folks would swear that 8.5:1 compression is ideal for sr20det, well, the 280ps sr20vet with variable valve timing and lift runs on 9.0:1 compression, with beefed up pistons and rods.

i hope to uncover some more in near future.
