I'm looking for a cheap intake for the Infiniti G20, I didn't know what engine/layout it was the same with for nissan brand. Can anyone point me into where I can get a cone filter for this car?

Cone filters [without a sealed cold air package] exposed to underhood air temps will create idle [and off idle acceleration] problems in/after summer heat soak!
Because the inlet air temp to MAF is measured and each 11F higher drops power by 1% naturally due to density decrease.
The ecu is ALSO summer protective to decrease power as the inlet air rises MORE than the natural decline as the air gets above 80-90F.

If you must use a cone for the noise it creates revert to stock for the 6 months of warmer weather [mid April to Mid October].

Wow, thanks for your post, I had no idea. All the manufactors, Stillen, Jim Wolf, K&N have their claims of ~8HP increase.

If I buy an intake and then build a aluminum box to cover the cone filter (to the best of my abilities), will this be okay then?
