Where you looking for a good port job? Where you looking to get the engine bored and honed witha torque plate? How far you planning on going, just curious. I ask this because if you were not planning on going that far, I would just go to any reputable machinist and assemble the engine with good parts.

Top-End Performance (http://www.racetep.com/) is a reputable shop they have been working with L series engines for over 20 years, i have never been there myself but i have heard and seen awsome work by them. They are located in North Hollywood. Check the site out! They have some insane S30's!!! http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

i have a 1977 nissan skyline which the L20 engine was swapped to a L28 (3 mikuni carbs, .3 bored, etc...) i just had the carbs restored and the condition of the engine i pretty bad. i was thinking of getting another engine or have the one i currently have fully restored. the car is in restoration and i hope to have the car complete by the middle of next year. it will be the first GC210 skyline japan to be fully restored in the usa. the previous owner had used it for drag racing but did not have the $ to complete the car.
