i still think the 115 mph one is the way to go...cause after that it really doesnt matter how fast you are going http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif

haha. my buddy used to have a Civic CX with an H22 in it. The speedo stopped at 105 so he would say his top speed was "maintenance required".

Wow, they don't overprice much. 50 bucks for a clutch line, 70 for that maf adapter. damn.

Yeah, it was more a case of "That's cool, but damn that's expensive. I bet that's easy to do.."

And I went from the 115mph to the 180mph to 110mph. A little harder to read the 180mph really accurately, but it's not too bad once you get used to it. I might do it on a track car, but on my car I only went above 110 a few times just to make sure everything worked right.. I hate how the 115 goes 15-25-35, much easier to read 10-20-30.

Hey guys I have a LS 180mph speedo that I want to get rid of. I bought it for my 96 240sx and it's made for a earlier model 240sx. 100 bucks shipped. Malterk@hotmail.com It's still in there bubble wrap and little box.

I still want someone to get this for me so I can open it up, copy it, and give it to everyone else for the cost of its parts and shipping. Speedo Convertor (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=32094&item=4510369 249&rd=1)

You can get the instructions from Hugh's site. Is that enough?

He's talking about a speed cut defencer.

I got the simple solution for that... maybe I should make a webpage for it?

Pull out ECU harness, cut speed sensor wire. VOILA! No speed limiter.

That little box probably doesn't do anything.

yeah, i got one from lsauto 2 yrs ago before i came across the DIY. but damn, $115 is a lot, back then it was only $75. 53% inflation is a BIATCH! i guess being electronically challenged is too http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
