So doing an S13 redtop swap into an S14.

Greddy FMIC for an S14. The piping does not fit. Hot pipe, cold pipe - none of it. Should I bend my own or is there an easier solution?

Thanks

Which hot pipe do you have? As in who manufactured it?
I know the pipe to the throttle body won't fit nor the hot pipe. You can use an S13 hot pipe on the S14 chssis with little problems. Just go through the hole directly under the intake.
The throttle side... The nice S13 pipe dip. You'll have to custom that piece or find the upper piece to a s13 kit. The rest of the kit should fit ok. Just those two pieces are the trouble.

Yeah, I am going to get a pipe bender and bend away most likely - seems like a daunting task - but I am long overdue http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Don't crush bend pipes, please. Buy mandrel bends and weld pieces together.

With the piping that comes with the kit, you should be able to build almost all of it. You may need to buy one mandrel bend to finish the cold pipe.

I put an S14 kit on my S13. I had to cut and twist all the pipes, but eventually it lined up. Then I had my friend weld it back together.

Just use an S13 intercooler kit...

The mounts are a little off, but that can be solved by bending the tabs and using washers, from what I've read.

Otherwise, the pipes should fit fine...

FWIW, my S14 w/ KA-T is using an S14 intercooler kit with an S13 coldpipe...lines up great.

I did a s13 HKS FMIC on my s14 with s13 sr.
cold pipe fits fine, Hot pipe had to be cut and extended 2-4 inches.

bbzor if interested in selling just your s14 piping I would purchase from you to aid in buying materials to fab your own piping...just let me know if you want to sell and how much....I also have aluminum custom piping for a s13 in an s14 chassis...from turbo to throttlebody maybe we can work out a trade of some sort.
