I was referred here from the Bluebirds email list and so far it seems pretty cool...

Anyway... Thought I would introduce myself...

I've had 15 Datsuns so far, 7 of which were 510s...
My current addiction is my '72 2dr, VG30E/5spd, 280ZX suspension/brakes, Maxima power leather seats F&R, etc.

Welcome!

Have any detailed pics of the suspension, engine, or the seats?

Not any current engine pics... Still working on "cleaning it up" a bit... http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Seats:

Fronts are 8-way power, and yes they work. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Rear is the stock seat with the leather "cover" removed from the Maxima and stretched onto the stock frame. Worked like a charm. Front seats were remarkably easy to fit also. FYI, they are from a '98 Maxima SE.

What help do you need?

Well, I have the issue of DimeQuarterly" about 280zx brake upgrade. I also heard of people using 200sx rear brakes too. (same size) I bought the 200sx calipers and I made a bracket for them. The parking brake bracket gets in the way! I looked at the pick on Dimequarterly and I think the 280zx parking bracket could clear. Have you heard of the 200sx rear brakes? I can pick up some 280zx calipers, but I am super poor right now and can't afford 40 bucks at the junkyard.

Oh, I was also wondering if you had a pick of your 280zx porportining valve. I need to know the direction of each hole. It would also give me a good idea of a good way to mount it.

Sorry, but I used a Wilwood park brake on mine and tossed the factory stuff. Never could make it work really well... http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Gonna hate this answer too... Just running a stock "valve" on mine. Stock bias seems to work fine for me... FYI, I have 280ZX fronts and Maxima/200SX rears.

Post a pic of your "stock" 4 door!

FWIW, here's a photo of mine the first week I bought it...
