Look into getting a Kaaz LSD(cost some bank!)...Also needed with this application are (2) flanges from your local Nissan Parts Dept...Or I believe Kaaz also stocks some OEM parts as well...good luck with the install...

Nissan NA is on national back order for the flanges last I heard, so you would need to get them from Kaaz.

Haha, maybe Kaaz bought all the flanges causing the backorder!

I just installed a KAAZ LSD this weekend and it is awsome! I bought it used with the correct sideshafts so it was a very easy swap. I also installed a B&M short shifter at the same time, its like driving a new car! LOL

Hey oberkill!
How about giving us your thoughts on your new B&M shifter. I've heard they've had some issues with vibration and or rattling noises...

Thanks,
Royce

Alan...
You're SO lettin me try out the shifter and the LSD when I get over there this week. From what it (the shifter) looked and felt like just out of the box, it's a beautiful piece of work. How about while you're working on finishing my car, I'll drive your car around. Sound fair? I thought so. http://www.freshalloy.com/ Later~

Has anyone tried a 300ZX TT LSD yet? I am going to try it... I really want a lower gear ratio.

300ZX TT diffs will not work. They are an R230V, the 240s use a smaller R200V. Only the NA Zs, J30s, and other 240 diffs are compatible. We've been over this a thousand times.

And why is that? The output shafts are different? Are the LSD housings differnet? What? I am going to have a custom aluminum (or carbon fiber) driveshaft made so length isnt an issue. If the output shafts are different then I can swap out to the TT shafts. So what else could it be if its not that?

roycenagger --- I love the B&M!!! The shifting is very precise and the throw is exactly what I was looking for. There is a little noise at certain RPM's but it is noise carrying from the transmission itself and is not that loud, I have a hurst shifter in my Corba and it makes alot more noise... LOL No vibration at all either, my only complaint would be the aluminum shift knob is pretty cold in the morning!!! http://www.freshalloy.com/

off topic, but that B&M Shifter makes SOOO much vibration noise, that it outdrones my Blitz Nur Spec AND stereo at full throttle.

Don... Really? I must have gotten lucky I cant hear mine at all once it is over 3500rpm while I am moving and can only here it at idle when I bring the RPM's up. I can feel some vibration through the shifter but not that much. It's barely noticable, is there any differance between the KA and the SR? I wouldnt think so but you never know... http://www.freshalloy.com/
