Injen Intake maybe.

Or invest it in blue chips, wait 30 years and get a full-racing Sylvia http://www.freshalloy.com/

Actualy, it depends. What do you wnat? A comfy car, or a racer?

And what car do you own? s14, s13 coupe, h/b?....

For performance, I'd go with the intake. That's a basic mod, gives you some HP and a nice roaring sound. And it's within your 200$ budget.

If you're more into esthetics/looks, go for a shift knob, a cd head unit, speakers, tinted windows, or whatever you like.

I got a '98 s14. Sorry, didn't mention that before.

Well, then I'd go for the Injen. No matter what car you have, I think most people here would agree taht it is one of the first mods to think about. And it's not expensive.

Wait a few days, you should get more answers. I guess most people are partying these days... http://www.freshalloy.com/

That's also a good idea. If you do that, and would like to modify the intake too, just remove the Y-pipe after the filter box. That is free http://www.freshalloy.com/

my brakedown :P
initial $170 from my birthday (on the 22nd so I get jipped and a lot of that was b-day + XMas.... although since it's my 21st a lot of it was just drinking money from aunts and uncles :P)
I spent $55 on a new shift knob, and the rest will go to a short shifter to finish my interior for a while (since I'm already doing the clutch, might as well do the shifter... i have lousy reasoning). For XMas, I got $120 and a bunch of clothes. That gets added to the turbo project, so in the case *cough cough* (knock on wood) the project goes over $1000 I can still finish it. Personally, I think $400 will be enough to do the manifold, downpipe, and IC piping... since I'm doing the downpipe and IC piping myself (and possibly even the manifold, if Asad doesn't have time >_< :P )

Basically, you can save that $200 for future projects, or just get some nice little trim or bolt ons... depends on what you already have, and where you wanna go....

i got $300!! hahaha, but thats probly gonna go into registration and everything else i need to get to get rolin.

Id sugest you getting a exhuast system built, jus get a cheap clone of the Apex N1 or whatever u want for like 100, then have a muffler shop weld up some piping for it, it shouldnt be more then 150 i think, then u can get poor with the intake part and just remove the Y-pipes (the plastic pipes that leads air into the airbox). You would get probly the most HP gain for that money and have a nice sound.

How about taking that $200 and buying your wife a suprise gift in return. The rewards from that is much better than anything spent on a car.

I spent a lot on her already. I decided I'm going to save it for another KA engine to build up so if anyone has one they want to sell me let me know. I got a spare computer/monitor combo and $200 for trade. Hehee.

If he doesn't know what Initial D is, I'd reckon the chances of him knowing what an AE86 is are slim.

For the record, an AE86 is a mid 80's RWD Toyota Corolla 2-door.

And he drifts it.
