today my back driver side brake started grinding loudly like metal on metal sound, i used the parking break for the first time yesterday so i dunno whats going on? please help

The pad has worn all the way down to the plate & its rubbing on the rotor, unless you replace it soon it will tear up the rotor & you will have to buy a new one probably. The rears are real thin so I dont know if they could resurface them.

how soon? could i still drive it until tommorow when i can get it worked on?

Possibly but I wouldn't wait any longer than that. Either its just the built in scare-you-to-fix-it safety stuff and an extra day won't hurt, or its so far gone that the rotor is trash anyways. http://www.freshalloy.com/

If your rotors need resurfacing, I would not recommend having them resurfaced. I have never been able to get any real use out of resurfaced rotors. They have always warped quickly after being resurfaced on many different types of cars I have had.

probally just the wear indicator. Replace the pads and turn the rotors and you should be fine.
