i saw this car in a parking lot today.

http://www.seriouswheels.com/top-Maybach-57.htm

thought it was an M45 at 50 yards. didn't recognize the logo when i got up close. i think the lines are like the 1st gen M.

anyway, looked it up and it goes for $325K. holy sht, ha. oh, i'm past 13K miles now and still loving ride on my M. enjoy the new one to whoever is getting it.

later, all.

It's funny, when I went to my local dealer to see the new M,I thought to myself that it should have a retractable shade in the rear, then I was like nah, only a Maybach has that. The next thing I know I looking at the brocure and you really can get a retractable sunshade for the new M http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You can't get one in the sports package. Only non-sport with the PREMIUM option.

Many cars have a rear sunshade. The I30 and I35 (model year 2000 and beyond), for instance.

I think your eyes need checked. The M and Maybach look totally different.

Well, both have 4 wheels, 4 doors, a steering wheel, an engine, front and rear lights, bunch-a airbags..

Look almost identical to me..!

Guys, I think he's referring to the "old gen" 2003-4 M...not the redesign! Actually, I think the old M is way more handsome than this "My bahhhk aches, dahhling" montrosity. (Well, the exterior anyway.) Much more Bentley than Maybach.
