We were tired of sub-par street racing DVDs, so for the last 2 years IMV Films spent LOTS of time and effort to create the a very entertaining documentary for the motorsports/street racing community. From the company that brought you the 350z TT vs Evo VIII (http://vids.torquenstein.net/imv/350z_TT_vs_Evo_VIII_Low.wmv) video and Let the Kid Drive (http://www.torquenstein.net/movies/imv/IMVFilms-LettheKidDrive.wmv), IMV Films presents Vehicular Lunatics which features PSI240sx and Orion along with several other unique characters.

I also support these guys...being that most of them are from my area and lots of them are my friends. I saw the DVD and definitely worth laying down a few bucks for the great experience that it is.

Much more to come so support now...and get more later!

This is a great DVD...well put together.

Not a bunch of B.S. and "street racing is the coolest" crap like many DVD you may consider similar in genre...it's a documentary about a group of "Vehicular Lunatics".

It's worth the $$$.

And as they are a sponsor, they should know the proper way of doing things.

Additionally, since you said...

Any feedback or comments are welcome!

...I'm sure I'm not alone in my sentiment that a video of this nature does nothing except hurt the community. You can throw as many disclaimers on there on you want, the fact remains that this (excepting the track portions) depicts the entire automotive tuning community in a negative light. Granted, you guys are a business and could care less about that sort of thing, but media attention of this nature - from any source, be it the news, feature films, or semi-private documentaries like this - just means more people like myself who aren't out there causing trouble getting needlessly hassled by the police (who I feel should be out there hassling the real troublemakers, don't get me wrong). Take a look at Apothesis if you want an idea of how to make a realistically accurate documentary about this scene without making us all look like a bunch of kids (and adults with more money than sense) who have no respect for the law or general public. Of course, something like this sell more, there's no question about that, and you are a business first (as far as I can tell).

Just my two cents...

^^^ Mike...have you seen it? It's not a "street racing" video...check it out, then see if your comments still apply.

I think they won't.

"IMV" did a good job of not glamorizing the street racing aspect of this...it's part of the film, but a lot of it focuses on "practice on the track, then bring it to the street" ... which doesn't mean street racing, but car control. A lot of us on here drive much faster than the average american idiot, and some of you do it without any training - This documentary promotes driver training and racing...then having fun with cars, even if that means doing it on the street.

If you decide to watch it, then definitely come back and share your comments...these guys are serious about making quality driving/racing videos, and feedback it good.
