I was wondering what company made the intake manfold for the side draft carbs for the fj20e? What problems did this engine have? Anyone here have one? Their NA is rated 148hp and their turbo is rated around 200.

It seems people do more Natrally aspirated race versions of fj20e over the sr20de's. Do they get better results NA over a sr20de? I know the sr20de valvetrain design has it's flaws. What about combustion chamber differences. ANyone have experience?

there are some available, I had one but it had no identifible markings. The FJ20 had trouble with it's oil-pressurized timing chain tensioners and most beef-up work is done there with solidly-mounted ones. The FJ20 has big beefy parts and is a real stump-puller. I am seriously considering bringing mine out of retirement and dropping it in the R32.

I found it. You can get one from Kameari. They don't have a website but here is a link for a company that sells their products.
