I have just purchased a PFC D-Jetro, do I have to use a MAP sensor, or can I use the original MAF at first and then upgrade to MAP later ? http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/confused.gif

You have to run a MAP sensor period. If it doesnt come with one, you can purchase a Mazda one made for the RX7. Hope this helps.

You have to run a MAP sensor period.

for pfc part #414-N020 (D-Jetro for RedTop), according to Apex-i, following components are required;
#N3A1 18 845 Mazda Intake Air Temp Sensor
#415-XA03 Apex-i Intake Air Temp Sensor Harness
#499-X001 Apex-i Boost Sensor
#49C-A004 Apex-i Sensor Harness 5Pin

you are welcome

I was just wondering about the PFC D-Jetro version. U say that i need all those parts that u listed on the freshalloy forum but does any of these parts come included in the package ?

All i need to know is what is required to make the car run at all with the PFC. I know all of the optional parts but what do I need to make it run ?

DOesnt make any sense to me to sell a thing that wont work without alot of additional parts without clearly specifying that they are needed to make the car run.

Im just really confused and I was hoping you maybe could clear it up for me a little.

like i stated, according to apex-i, the listed items are required for the d-jetro pfc unit designated for a red top.
5pin harness number changes to 3pin type for other d-jetro units.
i didn't make it up or grab it out of thin air.
i really don't need to be doing this. you should be asking the seller of your d-jetro unit.

i copied and pasted the e-mail sent to me, so perhaps i could shine some light on other potential pfc buyers.

there are many wannabe hustlers out there, wannabe because they cannot deliver the result.

as for apex-i's marketing policy, it isn't any of our business. if you have a complaint, they do have a very nice customer service open 24hrs to receive your e-mails.
