i noticed in all the SR20 transmissions (4 redtops)(and CA transmissions {4}) and many KA trannies, they all have a plastic bushings at the bottom of the shifter (which fits into the control rod)

Except mine, it has a brass bushing (and my shifter is stock too)

just wondering if any others have seen this or if this was a change in JDM transmissions during production of the S13.

Is this common on S14 transmissions?

maybe i have an S14 transmission ?? hoping...

it might be nismo's solid shifter.
i read they have same shift stroke as stock but firmer feel, and the shifter is black.

It is a cusco Shift Collar.

It should be and aftermarket one!
The s14 comes with a plastic one. Seen those, and the nismo tight shifter comes without any cartriges.

Like someone said, possible Cusco...

On another note, the OBX ****er just suck.
It is SOOO notchy. Not even funny. Hard to shift quick.

Estevan, if you don't like the brass bushing you can send it to me. I won't even charge you to ship it. http://www.freshalloy.com/ http://www.freshalloy.com/

Mine broke again yesterday! It broke 2 days after I bought it so I fixed it with window urethane. It held for a few months and now it's spinning again!!! AHHHHHH
