so a locking washer from my blitz LM air filter didnt do its job and the filter element came lose and the filter cap fell off into my engine bay..

the locking washer met mr turbo

I am worried however that the metal fragments might of scored the cylinder wall... ive driven 300 km since then and the motor has run the same as before with no problems, good and hard, other than the [censored] spool and boosting from the turbo..

however there is the possability that there is a slight score and eventually it will eat away into a larger one..

what are the odds of this, im changing my oil as we speak.

either way you need a new turbo. Im selling a bare short block btw.

I can set u up with a nice turbo too.

Hey it could be worse I know from expericence.

I had a 60-1 eat itself. The motor ran for another year with no issues, until the rod when buh bye right before the traps on a pump gas run.

I would take the intercooler out and wash it out with degreaser and water.

I doubt anything made it to the engine. The velocities in the piping isn't high enough to keep the metal fragments entrained in the flow for the whole length of piping, especially when they go into each endtank of the intercooler.
