I was wondering if there are any good shops down there that sell turbos and other performance parts for a good price?
I'm going there in Feb
Thanks http://www.freshalloy.com/ http://www.freshalloy.com/ http://www.freshalloy.com/

MP motorsport would be a decent place. There's also CCR, but they mostly sell rims (from what I saw back in june). My cousin's roommate knows the guys @ MP and says they're cool. Can't help you out with pricing however.

I think Henry Wang is the owner. Tell them you know Gat (Jason Gatlin...he did their business cards and some other stuff for them), and he may hook you up...

Yep... Lots of shops out here. Although most of them don't know diddly squat. There's MP Motorsport, Evospeed, Carzmetics, Sin City Performance, Dynasty, and a few others I can't remember.

Are these places close to the strip?
dO YOU GUYS know if I can take the parts home with me on the plane?

Thanks for your time!

What's up Chris

Im not sure if they have changed their name or even still exist but lotus racing was a pretty nice shop. They seemed to be really into fab work , as well as maximum performance motorsports ...well that was like 3years ago but anyway...ccr was nice too but they are more of a retail establishment vs. a custom shop.

Lotus was owned by Jack. They closed down a long time ago. Jack now works at Carzmetics/Fusion Auto Salon. I bought my bumper from him.

Yeah, Jack was pretty cool. I have a cousin in Vegas who I visit often. We talked shop with him a few times. I wonder if he still has that RX7?

Last June, it seemed like CCR had good prices on rim/tire combos, but everything else was quite high. All I remember seeing in their showroom were tons of rims.

As far as bringing stuff back with you on the plane, I don't think it would be an issue. Just bring an extra suitcase, or if your parts are too big, go to a Mailboxes Express / UPS / Fed-Ex and ship it back to your house.
