i've heard that the nismo ones are supposed to have a good ride

From what I've heard the Whitelines are generally a little bit stiffer. I would go ahead and just stay with Whiteline, they seem to have nothing but complements about them.

I think that's because the Nismo ones are rubber, but the Whiteline ones are polyurethane. But in any case, the ride isn't really worse with poly bushings (I have the Energy Suspension poly bushings), the steering just feels more communicative.

I had just installed new T/C bushings in my S14. I went with the nismos. They are rubber. NISMO claims there a harder compound than OEM. After the installation there was a remarkable improvement in steering/handling/braking control. Though my original bushings were so worn out I dont know how much better they are over OEM.

On my S13, every single suspension bushing is by Whiteline except for the new subframe bushings. I have no other suspension mods yet and I like the ride I have. People always complement me on the car's handling even though I have an otherwise stock suspension. The wide tires help too. http://www.freshalloy.com/ I guess the point is to say that I recommend the Whiteline units. http://www.freshalloy.com/
