Hey, after hearing Phil's Greddy BOV on his turbo KA24E tonight, I really want one. I just want to know what is everyone elses opinion on brand, as far as quality and sound are concerned. HKS/Apexi/Blitz/Greddy/TurboXS ??

I have a HKS SQV and it is nice. Quality and soundwise!

I quite like the look of the Sard R2D2 BOV though. It looks weird, but should be good quality. I've not heard one and don't know anyone who has one yet, though!

HKS Sequential sounds very nice and loud, but I was wondering how does the Apexi Twin Chamber sound like?

Blitz Super Sound! loudest BOV I've heard. I had it on my turbo prelude, it sounds like the skyline R32 in the Initial D. no high pitched sound like HKS and Greddy. kinda like the school bus blows off at a stop... http://www.freshalloy.com/

i think the high pitch sound that greddy makes kicks ass!

i have the ssqv, but haven't installed it yet.. maybe when i get my apexi fmic. i was also thinking of getting the mitsu recurculation kit for it so i can either go open atmoshpere or closed.

If you want the bov to be loud dont use the apexi. A friend back home has it on his turbo 240 and it is not very loud. If you want loud go with the greddy or the hks SS. Those are both a high pitched sound. If you want more of just an air discharge sound go with the blitz which sounds pretty good.
