I've recently installed kyb agx and prokit on my s13. Whenever I ride over a dip or a speedbump, I can hear the rear driver side shock make a slight "whoosh" noise. It this normal? It sounds like it is just the shock piston compressing, but I don't hear it on the other shock/struts.

Could it be defective?

Thanks in advance.

My rear AGX's have done that since day one. I think it's normal, although I think it's a bit strange that you can only hear it from one side...

I'm thinking that it's normal. I get that noise from all 4 of my kyb shocks/struts. Geez! Beat me by a minute

Okay, now I feel a little better about it all. http://www.freshalloy.com/

Say, this is off topic..

But does anyone have any leads on a reputable shop that can do a 5speed swap?

Mine do the same thing. I actually like the sound, lots of people get in the car and say what the heck is that.

As mine got broken in, that sound quieted down a little bit. I have a stripped interior so it was seriously loud in my car at first, kinda scary actually.
