finishing up my sr swap, the trouble is we cannot get signal to the fuel pump with key in acc./ or on position. tried re-wiring pump to relay (as described in other posts) and with stock wiring configuration. the car ran before the sr was put in. also the red light on the ecu is coming on. seem to
have everything working (checked injectors for grins, and had power to them, dash lights and all that jazz working properly also). only thing that was really changed was the charging system harness or i guess some might call it the lower harness (used harness from ka not sr). checked plug by the passenger side front headlight and the black/pink fuel pump wires are set up in the connector correctly. any help would be greatly appreciated it's starting to get colds and i just want to drive my car. http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/tear.gif

Is there signal from the ECU? The black/pink wire should show a pulse when the key is on for 5 seconds, then drop off.

well thanks for the quick response, but we did some more checking turns out whoever supposably "converted" the harness i have jacked it all up, and fried my e.c.u. so now i have a harness draped all over the engine bay and no e.c.u. golly sure am glad i woke up this morning http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/frown.gif
