Is there anyone on this board that is really good w/ adobe photoshop, corel photo paint, etc? My brother is always on VW voretex and there is a pretty big photoshop thread going there. If anyone has some images, or can make some lets see some photoshopped S13s and S14s.

Also if anyone can do it I'd like to see what the Buddy Club P1 racing 2s in gunmetal, and 180sx tails would look like on a dark blue '89 hatch. http://www.freshalloy.com/

Thanks. However, that website looks as if its products are marketed in Japan only. Are there any US distributors/importors of those wheels? (Buddy Club P1 racing 2s

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Taka Karia IS a US importer. Buying any rims from Japan gets REAL expensive REAL quick though (about $450 / wheel).

I was actually thinking of posting on your thread about those rims Aubrey but they didn't look like your old ones.

Edit: My fingers went stupid (AKA typos)

you're wrong. Taka kaira is not located in the US. They are a Japanese company located in Akiba Bldg.1F 292-2 Akiba-cho Tatsuka-ku Yokohama Kanagawa 245-0052
. They are a Japanese EXPORTER. If you say US Importer, that means that they are located in the US and are bringing things from japan over here. Which is not the case. Motorex on the other hand is a US importer. Sorry...i'm minoring in economics.

No they dont look like my old wheels but if i cant find a pair with the right offset and width then i might just purchase all new wheels. These wheels are beautiful and i hope one of the photoshop gurus post a pic with a set on a S13 in this thread.

Those ARE nice blue silvias. The red rims on the fristone aren't to my taste but ther rest of the car is very nice and clean. Does anyone know who makes those mirrors?

As for the second car is it just me of does that car look a lot like a R32 Skyline (something about the carbonfiber hood and rear wing make me think "tuner shop R32 GTR Vspec II")

You have to find the pics you want. Even better, take a picture of YOUR car. That way you'd see exactly what the wheels would look like on your ride.

That would only work if I had a static IP though right? I'm using DHCP right now because I don't want to pay extra for the static IP.

Edit: I think it would be pretty hard to photoshop a S15 conversion onto an S14. Changing the colors, rims, adding wings etc. is pretty simple but actually putting the S15 front end on and making it look right would take some time.

eh, prolly not a good idea. EVERY time someone wanted to look at the picture, your computer would have to upload. Even with DSL, that could really start to suck. Plus you'd have to open up your computer which would make you more vulnerable to hackers/viruses.

But if you wanted to host a picture for a couple of days, then delete your post, that might work out ok. You'd have to install a web server like IIS or Apache. IIS comes with Windows 2000, Apache is free to download. Then you set a port forward on the router to port 80 on the computer that is serving the files. The end result would be link like this: http://1.1.1.1/myfile.jpg (where 1.1.1.1 is the ip of your router)

Yes, it is much more difficult with a dynamic IP. It would work for as long as your router was connected to the Internet, but if you lost power you would probably have a different IP when you came back on line. Hence why I say you'd only host for a day or two.

I agree about the s15 front. It would be much easier to modify a picture of a car that already has an s15 front.

I would reccomend stretching the wheels so the were both the same size, and angling them a tiny bit so they face the exact same direction as the car. With good software, and practice photoshopped pics can look real. My brother made a pic of a Bently on 22in gold daytons, and hydros, all decked out in gold trim (don't worry it was a joke pic.) the trim looks factory, and the daytons look like they're really on the car. The hydros kinda give it away but it's still beliveable.
