just registered here on Freshalloy...it seems as though this is the place to be for 240's...the other boards are slow as hell when it comes to posting replies to any ones questions...this place looks very hype...heres a few pics of the ride.

Umm....i may be a newbie but i doubt you can do an s-15 SR swap. I believe the tranny is 6-speed and the car you have is 5-speed. I wanted to do the same thing, but the guy told me that i could only do S-14 and S-13.
But then again anything is possible.

No he can do it...he just needs the motor and the tranny and all tha goodies. It is not impossible...it is very doable...price usually for a S15 swap is like 4500 all the way up to 6500...good luck my friend. That's the big daddy.

0-60 mph 5.6 seconds
Stock Quarter mile 13.9 seconds
(source SCC test of the S15 Silvia)

now dont bite my head off if im wrong but i remember bragging with my bro about the s14 matching 1/4 times with a transam and that was 12.9 per scc, not 13.9, but feel free to correct me if im wrong, and the s14sr doing 13.8

A stock s14 (w/ SR) cannot do a 1/4 mile in 12.9 sec. It is usually in the 14's.

I will bite your headoff...*CHOMP*. I am pretty sure that it said 13.9 seconds...12.9 seconds is damn fast and would put it in some elite status if it was indeed doing that. http://www.freshalloy.com/

May I recommend using an S14 or S13 SR20DET tranny with your S15 engine? I heard the 6-speed is a little weak. You'll benefit from using the 5-speed.

I think the brakes are non-GT-R...but they are R34...the Nissan Japan box they came in had the code on it...the Sparcos are 17x8 front w/ +35 and the rears are 17x9 w/ +42 offset...i bought them at semi-COST price $340/ea for the 17x8's and $355/ea for the 17x9 and the tires are Falken GRB's @ $120 a piece 235's in fornt and 265's in the rear...thanks for all the compliments...as far as the tranny is concerned...im going to use the 6-speed for now and then when I do a turbo upgrade (HKS GT series) and get serious about the HP then ill probably go 5-speed S14 tranny.

They might be off a non-GT-R R34 Skyline. Definitely not R34 GT-R brakes though.
