Car is a lifetime CA car. Friend of mine out there tipped me off on it. His bro was selling it. It has Koni red front strut inserts, shortened front springs, 200sx rear swaybar, huge Toyota Land Cruiser-sourced Tokico rear shocks (*firm*) and shortened Audi A4 rear springs (don't ask me...I didn't do any of this...previous owner works for a well-known Audi tuning shop in Davis, CA.) It also has pushed-in bumpers, a semi-custom cat-back with bigger tubing and a SuperTrapp and that cute little homemade front spoiler http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Current plans only revolve around fixing up the interior (different seats, carpet that isn't ugly, etc.) The drive home from CA last summer was uneventful for me and my co-driver, apart from the car eating it's alt and battery in Nevada.

Also, my dad's driver is a 1986 Nissan Pulsar NX. Bought in the early 2000s, it was in great shape, but being heavily used as a daily driver in all weather has not been friendly to the little guy http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/frown.gif Still drives perfectly and reliably though http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Enginey sort of thing (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/pulsatingwalleye/pulsarengine.jpg)
These days its faded, dented, and rusty http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/frown.gif

1st off..Welcome Andx0r!

I had a Pulsar like your dads for a commuter car back in the late 80's to early 90's. Most reliable Nissan I ever had. Over 100K miles with very minor regular scheduled maintanence.

Curious as to what MPG you get in these classic Nissan's?

Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed this alot!
