I am currently helping out in a S-14 to S-15 conversion.

We are going with the OE Metal fenders vs fibreglass.

That means a lot more work.

1 - the s15 fenders have a different door line and the line to the A Pillar is lower and the lines on the actual fender are slightly more rounded off (did that make sense?). There are a couple of solutions to this. One is to cut the S-14 fenders near the back and weld it to the new S-15 fenders. VOILA!

Second problem. Mounting the Fenders to the engine bay... The mount locations are different so you can either purchase the engine bay front fenders and weld those in place or just drill new mounting locations and weld nuts to the back side.

Third problem... the lights. We are putting in the S-15 front radiator support. Hopefully this will not domino and create more problems.

Hoods... seem to be no problem along with after market front bumpers covers.

I found the OE metal parts, lights, and C-west hood and bumper packaged through AutoImaging.com.

Hope that helps!

The main thing with fiberglass is fitment and durability IMO. However the upside is less work http://www.freshalloy.com/
I will also be doing another S15 with fiberglass fenders.

Most of our Integra Type R Conversions we have done, customers would order the fiberglass fenders, and after about 2 months they had came back to order the metal fenders.

Keep in mind though, that there are some very good fiberglass fenders out there such as Masa.

I think a response to a specific request is ok, but prices (from businesses) should be kept off the forum, as well as blatant commercial posts (of course).

And just to be clear, occasional classifieds posts from forum members selling their own personal items is allowed (and prices in the message are welcomed), at least until FA has it's own classifieds set up.
