View Full Version : Did Freshalloy Jump the Gun on the CX Forum?

I'm starting to wonder when (or even if) the CX is even going to appear in concept form. Has there even been an official announcement from Infiniti regarding the "CX?" The name CX37 hasn't even been copywritten while all the other V6 models got the "37" name copywritten. One Motortrend article does not a forum make. Or am I just out of the loop and making a complete ass out of myself?

Well if it is for sure coming and we haven't seen a concept yet it must be a good ways off. The Infiniti GTR is probably just as far away and actually has a concept or two floating around although in Nissan guise.

i wouldnt sweat it, a lot of new cars or refreshes come out with very little to zero public buzz. It's just something infiniti and nissan may just choose not to push because maybe certain public/private surveys have not been completed yet. Sometimes cars do just appear.

Yeah sadly I think we did, so did I... http://forums.freshalloy.com/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

With Mazda releasing all their new crossover SUVs as CX models (CX-7 and CX-9 so far) the names might cause confusion. I think Infinti should trademark "BX" immediatly. As for the crossover itself, it does exsist just not to much info on it. Nissan/Infiniti is really good at keeping secrets till last minute (example Versa and 2007 Sentra styling).

Just rename it to EX, now we're sure about that

We sponsor lots of forums and its not uncommon for there to be a forum devoted to a car that has yet to be released. There has been a IS-F forum on the Lexus boards for a VERY long time for instance
