Hello all, I spun the #2 rod bearing quite badly in my S14 SR and need to replace the connecting rod and crank. I've already got a replacement 11111 crank, but I cannot find anyone anywhere with a rod, new or used. I've heard that 200sx SE-R rods are the same part number, but I cannot confirm this. Any help is greatly appreciated!

TIA

I've got 3 of them. I am out of town for Business until next tuesday but if you can't find one before then I can hook you up. Let me know. I would think you should be able to find a new one though for pretty cheap. If you don't have one when I get back I'll send you one if you just pay for shipping.

My research is beginning to lead me to believe that I can use the FWD SR20DE rod... Can anyone confirm this?

TS4l, please hit me up when you get back.

Thanks

Crower lists the same part# for all SR20 motors. This leads me to believe that the rods from a FWD SR20DE will work in a RWD SR20DET. Anyone?

I'll try and remember to get in touch with you when I get back. There just sitting in my garage so if you want to pay for the shipping I'd be happy to help you out. I beleive the FWD are the same except the GTi-R rods which have the bigger bearings. I'll look I have a few of those laying around too.
