Just lookign for opinions mainly, I have a 97 S14 it already has a pretty aggressive look stock, looking to do simple things such as the eyebrows and a full mesh grill only (hate the plastic stock one) but I was debating doing the S15 conversion but notice not many people have done so alaready, any reason why not? I have my doubts because the S14 is already a rare looking car and not sure if I still want to do it, just looking for input from fellow 240SXers

Well the 240SX is a rare car. But this car is yours and its whether or not you prefer the stock look or something flashy and unique (for now). The only reason why some people haven't done it is because they like how their car looks and its basically a preference of what they like and don't like. Most people opt for the 97-98 because its cheaper and you can get OEM metal parts which are direct bolt-in, this goes out to people with 95-96 (which does not include you). Also they say VIS has a bad fitment with there kit, but there's others out there. Also your fenders in almost any kit will most likely be fiberglass, unless you get the kit from Japan that comes with metal fenders. I opt to go with the S-15 conversion kit w/CF hood, but I need to save up since I'm looking at $3100 and who knows how much paint will cost.

Hey GKNY
I'll buy you front end if your going s15!
I was going to do the s15 front end but I went with the sr20 drop.
But if your serious, let me know at dan240sx@hotmail.
I'm dropping the engine as we speak, so the 97 front end would be a real treat to find.
GO FOR THE S15 CONVERSION!!!, I AM NEXT YEAR, THE 97 FRONT END IS TO HOLD ME OVER, I CAN SELL IT ANYWAYS(KNOW WHAT i MEAN)AND THEN DO THE S15! http://www.freshalloy.com/
