i read something a few weeks ago , and it has been bothering me ever since . there seems to be a bunch of here in fl ,and a few weeks ago some one was trying to sell there car and they said in there ad that they had arguably the nicest 240 in fl. well to me , it was stock , and stock is nice , but its not phat. so i want to know who everybody thinks has the pahtest 240 in fl , ka or sr , s13 or s14 , if its a 240 its included. if you think you got post it , with a pic , if its not yours and you got a pic, post it too. i ll start off by saying i think that either britt from g-ville or jay(psi240sx) have locked , but i want to know what everybody thinks !

I visit Florida every winter, and here's my "constructive" comment:

Every 240 in FL is nice, because they are not covered in road salt. http://www.freshalloy.com/

both MAV and miamigrinch proved why this is a subjective opinion.

miamigrinch reports that some orange car with interior, nawzzz, big kit. i do like the turbo and cf hood (and N2O since he probably has alot of power considering the money he spent on the whole car).

but if i saw that car id probably not like it because MY OPINION is that cars with bright ass colors and huge kits do nothing for them unless youre a hardcore show freak. and if u were a show freak, why build up a motor for speed if u dont wanna get road chip on your kit?! its all preference and i'd take the stock looking sleeper with 300hp over the huge kitted winged bling bling rimmed car with 400hp. i like clean cars that are subtle.

garrett: i was talking about your car! http://www.freshalloy.com/ oh and i have a pic for you too of something ur getting that might help you like it better (unless u already found the pic).

I'd have to say one of them best 240's belongs to Martin here in Tampa.

Based solely on your response and attitude yes it does....but thats my opinion on attitudes...thats what this is about right...opinions... http://www.freshalloy.com/ or was it attitudes....

As for 240SX's in FLA, I'm not from there thus I don't have an opinion(that I'll share) on that.... http://www.freshalloy.com/

I went to Walgreens and scanned the photo of the orange 240 here in Miami that I keep framed in my room as Inspiration to fix up my car. But, how do I post a pic here from my disk?

I would have to say Julie Phan's s15 conversion with Ka turbo

my favorite 240 in florida will have to go to Rock's S14 when he is done with it, Martin Strunk's 13 will be a sight to behold and Some guy in orlando has a nice S14 with bomex kit and Volk 19's. Very clean though (no its not the 'ricing zone 240'- that 240 gets my "poser of the year award"

my 02 cents

SikSilvia and Shin:

Some people are so anal on this forum. Siksilvia asked a specific question and that's it. If you don't live in Florida what the hell are you posting for? I am going to post my vote soon as I figure this posting a picture thing.

Okay, I signed up at eframes.com and uploaded the pic. I had originally taken this pic to Kodak picture maker and I added text and cropped it so I could frame it in my room so that is why it will appear as it does. Here is the link. http://www.freshalloy.com/

Sorry, Orange car, barf... Bomex kit is over-played. Too busy, and the CF hood mixed with the lip spoiler clashes pretty badly.

I'd vote for Escaflowne's car as a better car...

thanks TY. I wish i had more money to buy a projector front end.

Another nice 240 is Jay's KA turbo S14 with custom plenum and piping. really clean install (JAY, best of luck with the valves)

Here's my opinion- mine only, so please don't be too offended. I think that orange 240 you linked looks horrid. The front bumper is awful, and those front-mounted wing-things that make the 95/96 headlights look more angular are just tacky.

The paint is nice, as is the CF hood, but, overall, yuck-o. Maybe it comes across better in person.

siksilvia:

I did you a favor by deleting most of the so-called "unconstructive" comments you were mad about, including my own.

But I hope you realize that styling is a subjective opinion. All I'm saying is that what makes a car "the best" isn't going to be the same for everyone, so your poll will probably end up nowhere.

If you want to get mad at me for stating that styling is subjective, then you can also get mad at everyone else on this forum.

And if you only want Florida people to post replies, please start a Florida message board. By starting a thread on Freshalloy, you're inviting anyone that is a member on FA.com to post a reply, so don't go off flaming folks if the responses were not what you intended it to be.

TY: I can read, and yes I read his title but
How the hell would you vote for nicest 240 in
Florida if you don't live in Florida? If you
don't live here than you don't see many 240's
here and therefore don't really have
knowledge of all the 240 possible to choose
as "Nicest" now do you? http://www.freshalloy.com/

well, mav, i beg to differ. a stock perfect ride is nice ! but so is is the shirt my grandma sends me every year for christmas!but , the s14 , with the dark wheels , fmic and a nice clean engine bay is fat , kinda like the new tommy shirt i buy to go to the club in, they both have there place in my closet or in my garage , but i would rather drive the turbo with my tommy shirt on ! but that is my opinion , they are both nice , but i am talking about phat rides ! custon rides ! see what i am saying .....

For S14, I'd go with Jays also........perfect sleeper and absolutley hauls ass....

That being said I also love Britts car as well......one of the cleanest there is:)

Wait a minute. Does Miamigrinch's 240 have a red top, and was it on the cover of an Import tuner rag?

Personally I hate the little front headlight spoiler...yuck!!! It serves no purpose but to give drag and look ugly...if you want your 95-96 to look like a 97-98...buy the conversion.

My votes: Estevan and Jay's car in the S13, S14 category.

Dont get me started on Garrett and Britt...those shifty Lakeland people are worse than V8 guys.

-"What you got in there?"

-"Nothing...she's bone stock...race me"

-"Hmm...what's that in the back?"

-"That exhaust comes stock on 240SX's"

-"Right...I suppose it comes w/NISMO cams too huh?"

(Btw...this is a fictional conversation between a Lakeland person and an unsuspecting person he's going to race)

Bastiches...PEOPLE...dont ever trust Lakeland people to be honest w/you in a race.

Well, since we are talking about Florida car's.. i cast my vote for 2 cars... Julia Phan's of www.Tenshigirls.com (http://www.Tenshigirls.com) and Conroy C. from www.back-yard-productions.com (http://www.back-yard-productions.com) Eventhough a lot of people hate on her ride.. i give her much props for the hard work and patience for all the car shows and dealing with sponsors. As for Conroy.. what else can be said. He has beating up on Twin Turbo Supra's, 400HP drag integra's, Supercharged mustangs, 2000'Corvettes, turbocharged M3, turbocharged GS400, turbocharged IS300 (cover of turbo magazine..606WHP), 400AWD eclipses.. to big of a list to continue.. but my props goes to him for doing this all with stock internals on a Turbo KA. running anywhere from 10psi to 18psi.. without a JimWolf ECU.. everyweekend for over 3 years now.. between two trannies.. auto and stick.. and the car still looks damn good stock on 18".. judge for yourselves. Conroy in my vote is the all-around sweetest in FL. http://www.back-yard-productions.com/C30.jpg

My vote is Orange 95 240sx from "All Star" car club in Miami. I heard it's for sale too. It has custom paint job, custom interior, carbon fiber hood, bomex body kit, N.O.S. (I think), Turbo charged (not sure if it is KA or SR20DET) Hands down I have seen no other 240 that compares as far as South Florida is concerned. It gets my vote. I'll try to get a scanner to post a pic.

When I get some free time, gotta look up those central florida boys... pix look good. One thing I can say tho', is that those pictures don't even begin to do Conroy's car justice. I've seen it a few times, and it is one *cleeeeaaaannnn* ride! Body and interior in immaculate condition, and everything added is so stealth. Stance is awesome!!! and the way he "fit" the wheels... they're multipc custom, like 18x8 fronts and 18x9.5 rears ? Anyhow, they're flush with the fenders. Car looks very solid on the road (heavy, sorta)... in motion, powersliding sideways up the onramp, smoke coming off the rear tires (hehe), looks like jewelery.
Nuff respect to this one

My favorite 240SX's in florida... hhhmmm tough question. If I have to split it up in S13/S14 I'd say:

S13 - Estevan's, it's a pure example of good taste and very hard work (and cut springs http://www.freshalloy.com/ ).

S14 - MINE http://www.freshalloy.com/ ... It is!
But if you know of one with:
• Kouki Silvia K's wing
• Dark Silver or Yellow paint
• Turbo KA
• Blitz Type 03 wheels (17x8 and 17x9)
Then THAT would be my favorite.
