View Full Version : Am I missing something for the whole timing chain issue?

I popped off the valve cover, took a peek down to see what I was in for, and was somewhat suprised when I saw that the guides which I was lead to belive were plastic, where metal.. (per the text at 240sx.org (http://www.240sx.org/faq/articles/startup_rattle.htm))

Granted, I didn't go as far to remove the front cover.. so perhaps I am missing what I am really supposed to be looking for..

and I think it is getting close to the time for changing the oil.. oy

Argh, never fails-- right after I post, I come across the answer.. in this case, just another link. Guess I need to break out the socket wrench kit and have at it with the timing chain cover, ugh.
