Took the S13 to the dyno last night…
Stock KA24E with a test pipe and Buddy Club Spec 2 exhaust…

Motor has 225K on it and will be replaced soon… I was just curious I guess…
I’m taking the car out to the track this weekend and wanted to see if this would help me see where my powerband is…

Apparently there is no powerband…

Specs say that this motor makes:

140HP @ 5600RPM
152 FT/LB @ 4400RPM

And this motor made:

102 WHP @ 6100RPM... assuming 20% drivetrain loss it is 122HP
117 W FT/LB @ 3600RPM… assuming 20% drivetrain loss is is 140 FT/LB

So the motor is down about 13% horsepower and 8% down in torque…

Let’s see how it handles the track this weekend… It will definitely be the loudest one there…

Here is a video of a third gear run...

haha, mine is posessed. I should dyno it for fun (my dd). It feels like its around 150whp level range.

Try advancing your timing 3 degrees and run 89 octane....im seriuos. ;)

in other news my 500hp sr setup gets better milage part throttle than my DD.

wish i had more money, id toss another sr in that car too.

i hate the ka...sigh

but it does get me to work (safely and slowly)
