Anybody in here running nitrous on their KA24DE? What kind of setup is it? Are the internals built? Do they have to be?

You may want to use the search function here on the sight if you need for info go to www.240-sx.com (http://www.240-sx.com) and look at my page under setups (mubarick) this is a venom computer controlled system with stock internals (except cams)

I've got NOS bought it the day after I saw F&F. It's soooo COOOOL. I mounted the bottle right in the middle of my two front seats so I can rest my arm on it when I drive http://www.freshalloy.com/ http://www.freshalloy.com/ .

Hey Adam, how do you like your mastermind? I have mine sitting in the box right now, while I wait for my direct port kit. How hard was it setting it all up? Where did you mount it?

he he..i am on my second mastermind unit..they have a problem with the rev limiter..some crappy component they used...but other than that it works great..a ton of wires to hook up..install was medium difficulty...but as far as a controller it really works awesome...you can tune nitrous anyway you want, and set the retard..i also use it as a secondary rev limiter..for my turbo system..

i mounted it driver side under dash..where hood release is ...so you can see the shift light

good pick....it makes nos feel like a small turbo system..

fox colt..keep in mind that bottle is at over 1000psi..you have a bomb under your arms...what if the blow off valve pops? where is it vented too....very dangerous..i would keep that thing as far away from you as possible...

Like I said j/k. I don't think the bottle would even fit between the two front seats of an S14.

Hrmmm....I'll have to look at that spot. I was thinking about keeping it in the glove box so curious passengers wouldn't see it and 'wonder what all those knobby things do' while they play with it.
I bought it thinking that it should allow me to run a fairly large junk of nitrous with it. The progressive capabilities and timing retard should make my engine a little happier when I start squeezing off a 100+ shots.

i would think that you could use it to control up to 400shot...my mechanic has one on a 4cyl rustang with a 250shot...it really is the best controller on the market..plus at the drags you can play with it to get the best launch..just buy turning a knob..vs all the laptop models you can't

and again..its good to see your going with a direct port kit..you will be very happy with it..

it will put a big smile on your face when you hit the nos for the first time..you will say..wow can this little motor really do this?

Kit works great, unfortunatly though cops are cracking down on street racing so I'm not going to risk any stop light grand prixs for now. Really need remote bottle opener though.

I don't plan on using a remote bottle opener. The sole reason being, it will keep me out of trouble as far as the streets go. I'd be kinda silly to have to get out, walk about to the trunk, and crank open your bottle...hence, no silly street racing! http://www.freshalloy.com/ Well, at least none that I don't plan on.
