I finally got the tails set in and wanted to post a few closeup pics of the center section since there was some discussion about what it was. It is a carbon fiber lookalike panel and the RPS 13 is inside it. The rear has a Nissan stamp. A friend of mine in Japan asked a Japanese guy he saw with the center piece where he got it and he said he ordered it from Nismo. Not sure how legit that is just passing it along.. LOL Anyways here are the pics.

Ok, I'll ask the obvious. Why do you have them if you have a coupe? Would you be willing to part with the set?

They are going to be sold on Ebay but I was trying to stay away from a comercial post. LOL They are nice but not nice enough to buy a fastback.... http://www.freshalloy.com/ I have never seen a regular center panel is it plastic or metal? Just curious, I have been wondering ever since I first saw a set with the RPS 13 center piece.

If it is a Nismo piece, perhaps Nismo obtained OEM center panels and modified them, retaining the backing but replacing the surfacing?

LOL I thought it was a completly differant part as well but I wasnt sure. Thanks for posting the regular part number!!
