View Full Version : new here: S14 to s14 wiring questions, please help

i have been reading FA.com for a few weeks. what a great board. This is my first post. I am 90% done with my 98 sr20det into my 95 240sx. The wiring is giving me a kick. i was reading at srswap.com, there are wires by the battery i have to connect. IS this still true for the s14? Or all the wires i need to connect are on the white harness by the right passenger foot? I got the fuel pump to turn on when i turn on the key, but the motor is not starting yet. Does the factory alarm have anything to do with this? also does any one have the layout for the 95 body harness? can i just connect the colors of the us to the sr body harness? i dont think so. i know its alot of questions but any help is appreciated so i can get this sucker running. i figure since i got the fuel pump running, i need to find the neutral safety switch, start signal (orange), ecu backup, vtc solenoid, and the tach and speedo? right?

another question:

can i still have a/c?
ii read on srswap that a/c for s14 is still under development
does anyone with a s14 to s14 have a.c?

greddy fmic, downpipe
walbro 255
dual n1
apex s-afc
profec b

it seems like if u instll the greddy downpipe there will be no cat. true?

we have A/C .. had to fab some lines up.. but no biggie.. wiring is odd.. remember that the s-14 motors.. come in 2 styles.. 96.5 and below and 96.5 and up...

i have the sr compressor because the ka would not fit. i think i will have to fabricate one line. how did u do ur wiring vik? i have a 1998 motor? which one do u have?

why am i on my own? no one has a s14 in a s14?
i read that yuri at srswap has done quite a few.
