Here are the rest of the pictures available from the above mentioned Infiniti site, kind of small though. I'm still not feeling the light colored interior...wish we could see the darker color.

ENJOY! :D

I saw what was probably the same one today at Roswell Infiniti (N. Atlanta). It's nice looking but very toy like. The materials were great, the fit/finish was wonderful, and it was quite true to show car form. Unfortunately though, anyone over about 5'9" or so that is thinking of getting this is going to be severely disappointed. :(

Considering the dimensions listed, I expect anybody that can fit in the G35 coupe or sedan, will be able to fit in the EX.

It appears to be a G35 sedan on stilts. I agree w/what you said re: anyone who can sit in the coupe/sedan could do the EX but space is truly at a premium in this vehicle. I'm 6'3" and have a G35 loaner currently. I can fit in the sedan (drive/passenger) but the back seat is cramped. In the EX, I pretty much couldn't get in the back seat.

It seems like the EX has as much rear space as a G coupe (maybe a little more). My salesman is 6' and the regional rep is roughly 5'9" or so. Salesman had similar issues to me w/fitting in vehicle. The regional rep did much better. After getting out of the EX and into my loaner, the loaner seemed to have more interior room. The EX much noticeably smaller than an FX.

Too small? Then don't buy one. Just a novel thought.

That is the Stone interior, with the black piano trim.

What worries me, looking at those photos, is not the backseat room by visability. That is a tiny little rear window. Visability issues kept me from buying a Murano a few years back.

I drove the RDX and X3 and wasn't all that impressed by either, but they both had decent views out the back.

That is why you order the around view monitor. Also with no one in the back seats you can put them down. And you have the sonar detectors too :). From what I saw of the Ex demo at the Texas State Fair the sonar seems to have a pretty broad "sight". :D

does it look more like wagon now????

I think it looks a lot worse with the smaller wheels...keep in mind that those are NOT 18's. I would most likely swap to 19's anyway and lower it a bit...will look much better.

I thought you were referring to front seat space, not rear seat space. I'm 6'3" and have a coupe and fit fine in the front seats. I expected the EX to be along the same lines. I can't fit in the backseats of the coupe, but what I do care? I'm the driver. :)

I think I'm pretty excited about the EX in terms of size. Couple weeks ago I was behind a Mazdaspeed 3 and a FX35 on the road. Found myself wishing there was something as fast as the MS3, but had the refinement of the EX and was in the middle of the two for size and price. Sounds like the EX to me!

I'll definitely want the around view monitor. But, that won't help much for passing on the highway. You want to be able to look back quickly and see if there is a car behind you.

If visability and headroom are ok in this vehicle, I'll be putting my deposit down shortly.

Front seat space/driving, I think you'll be okay...lol. For what you want, I think you'll like it and it'll be a good fit. :D

Only complaint so far for me is the fugly rims and so-so rear styling. Interior looks top notch in every way possible.

LOL...EXACTLY...it's a small SUV...not a full sized one. I have to laugh at big people trying to get in this thing and getting comfortable. Of course, the one thing I love about being 5'7" is that I can fit in any car with plenty of room.

Thank you for your small thought. Buying one never crossed my mind. However, since I was at the dealership, I figured I'd check it out as the offer was extended. As people on the forum have expressed an interest in the EX, I figured I could report back on what I found/thought. Ultimately though, people have to see it for themselves and draw their own conclusions.

For your size/stature, the EX will be perfect for you. I know you're quite excited about this vehicle. I hope you get one and drive it in good health. It was known that the EX isn't a full size SUV (neither is the FX) but there was an expectation from some that it would have a bit more space than the production model actually does.

The production model is actually a little bit smaller than the concept. For someone of your size, it's negligible. For someone larger (not even as big as myself), it could make all the difference in the world. Best of luck to you w/your purchase......

I totally agree with you macadamianutz. I think most people here where not expecting a full size vehicle but would expect it to be at least as spacious as the g35 sedan. It appears the ex35 is about the size of the coupe, which in my personal opinion is a mistake. This car does not compete with the x3 or rdx because it is too small. This car competes with the gti, volvo c30, etc.. The new upcoming mini cooper clubman will have more rear legroom than the ex35! The ex35 looks like an exciting vehicle, to bad its made for small people and not the other 75% of cuv buyers. The ex35 will be a nitch car, cool and stylish but not very practical.

I don't know why evryone worry about the size, it is almost like a X3,
http://www.bmwusa.com/vehicles/X3/30si/techdata.htm
and only the height is almost 5" short on EX

Two words... Rear Legroom. That seems to be what everyone is worried about it. The X3 is listed as having 35.8 inches of rear legroom as opposed to the EX35 being listed at 28.5. Otherwise aside from height as you mentioned, most other dimensions are nearly equal between the two.

that is a difference, I didn't see that info anywhere.
my most concern is how it look in real life...
if it look like a wagon or really nice CUV...

It does look pretty nice. I just wish it had the interior size and price of the G35 sedan instead of the interior size and price of the coupe. I doubt a top of the line model will be below 45k for this vehicle.

i am expecting about 42K to 44K or even less, since its the first time effort from infiniti

A best guess here but the fellow in the long video said the AWD EX35 would be very close in price to the AWD G35. I believe that means the RWD should be $40K or less loaded as a loaded G35 AWD is under $42K. :)

I have a feeling Nissan/Infiniti is going to be very aggressive with the pricing on the EX and a fully loaded example with AWD might only set you back about 40k.

which is god for this CUV, then it should sell better than G sedan
