Can you give the details on the lease? What's equipment, etc for the $449? Does that include taxes??

How much out of pocket, and what's the residual?

I got this from my dealer

36 @ .00152; 39 @ .00158; 48 @ .00175

Not as good as the ones you list, especially for 36 months. Puts the EX 35 in the game though. I'm still waiting as I think better deals are on the way

dr. dem, are you talking to Roger at Gwinnett?
What was the MSRP, mileage and any money down? Was the 449 for 24 months?

What you have are correct #'s for an AWD Journey. What the good DR. has is for RWD Journey models - makes sense because of geography. Infiniti is making adjustments and the dealers will do so as inventories rise. For what it's worth, these adjustments rarely happen mid to end of month so this is very good news as we move into February and March.

I see all of these rates for residuals and money factors on this site and when I go to the dealer those are not the numbers that they use. I understand that my FICO score has something to do with this but my numbers are not even close. I have been to 2 dealers and got the same residual number which has been 53%. That number is really 52% but I am a low mileage person so I get an extra 1%. The money factor quoted to me was .003017 at one dealer about a week ago. Far far away from the .00142 that was quoted here. What or where am I going wrong?? I understand that my personal financial situation has a lot to do with it but they don't know that info when I am quoted rates. I am talking to Dallas dealers so it "should" not be small city blues. :caged:

If I'm not mistaken, the money factor just changed a few days ago, so if you went a week ago, that would explain the difference. Call or e-mail your dealerships and quote the new money factor.

Roger is one of the guys there.

They sell 100 plus new & 75-80 used monthly

I live in Cincinnati, my brother lives in Atlanta (suburb)

Internet sales are like 70% of their sales

First of month quotes.

My understanding is that all the dealers nationwide have launched the EX this month.

Better rates = more sales

Great new money factors, but what is everyone getting off the MSRP, and what residuals are out there. The residuals I've seen from Gwinett Infiniti (ATL) are not good. The overall leases are better, but nowhere near the deal I got on my FX. I have two months left on my lease...they need to sweeten the deals in a hurry, because the entire economy hinges on my next lease. LOL.

Anybody check out infiniti website recently? They just post the lease offer for EX35. I don't know if it is a good one. Anybody can tell?

I took the info from Infiniti web site which is a payment of $449 for 39 months with a down payment of $3500 and TTL and first month paid up front. This is on a Journey with Premium and Roof Rails. I used Leaseguide.com and their payment calculator to come up with $449.57. That is using the numbers from this post of MF .00142 and from a Infniti dealer of residual for 39 months of 53% if you have a lease of 12000 miles per year (res of 52% if you use 15000 miles). The cost of the EX was $38265. I my mind that is not such a good lease as who pays money up front and no money off of sticker. But if you like the $449 and have up front money go for it.

I would not ever recommend putting a large downpayment on a lease. If the car is lost or stolen, you lose that money with nothing to show for it. That is why I insist on zero down leases. Of course the monthly payments are higher, but at least in that type of lease, if your car is lost or stolen, you had use of the pig so to speak.

These high money down ads are for attention pretty much, I mean you can get a Rolls for 449/month with $100K down. It makes it a pain to compare when you try to balance out the money down into payments.
The rates aren't so bad at Gwinnett and my company is on the VPP list, which I heard Gwinnett is doing now on EX's, so I wouldn't have to haggle as hard on the cap cost. But i will because its better to be a pain for a few hours to save lots over a couple years.
Gwinnett had their showroom full of EX's, 4 of them in different colors and loadouts and only 1 other vehicle, a QX.
They must be pushing them, but their inventory on the site doesn't look updated.

That's a very good lease. But I'm afraid that they quote you for base without option???

Using leaseguide.com and figuring a Journey with no options ($35665) and an MF of .00092 would take a residual of 74% with NO money down OR TTL. Quite a deal in my book IF you only want a stripped Journey. I want to see what $449 buys you for 24 months :).

dr. dem,
Was he on you because it was the last day of the month? Is the deal still good? If so, Roger told me they are getting their EX shipments in on 2/8, so there might be more of a selection if they don't have just what you want.
Let me know cause I'll be in the same boat really soon.
