I was just at a dealer where I met up with a customer looking at an EX35. The following day we met up again as he was taking delivery of the car. He told me he fought for the following deal. EX35 MSRP $40K and change. Car with Premium and Nav. $995 total out of pocket and payments of $580 including sales tax. Not sure how that compares to yours but should give you an idea. I would be interested in hearing more deals from others.

Go here "http://www.leaseguide.com/calc.htm" and put in the numbers you have and see what comes out. Pretty good site and the only real issue is tax if you have a trade in as this site seems to mess that up a bit. Don't enter tax in the form and use the tax$$ as extra cost and it works real close to quotes I have gotten and seen here :)

Yeah, that's a good place. I use to use that site, but I've been eyeballing it lately and it just seemed high seeing the monthly in high 5's. I used to not care and would pay over 900 a month, but i got a little smarter and now I try to stay around 500. I hope the deal gets a little better, but the MF and cap cost seem pretty good already.

bmoney, can you give us the miles/yr? thanks

12K a year. I think they are tossing in other costs because I got a quote from another dealer sell price was 1700 more but the monthly was the same. The money factor difference was .00010 less so that's not going to make up 1700 bucks. I'm trying to get at least to the mid 5s.

From when did VA change from 3% to 4%?
What legislative bill number?
Currently it is still 3%.
