My engine check light is always on, it was probably the MAF problem I had before, now the car is running right but the light is still there. Does anyone know how do I check the code on Apex PowerFC and how to reset it? I read the manual but I can't even understand a signle word. I only know it says if the light is always on then there's a problem. http://www.freshalloy.com/

There is a section where you can reset it, but it's only to reset the base maps which has nothing to do with you CE light. If CE light is on, usually that is indication of something wrong (wiring, sensor, etc).

Go to sensor check menu, and turn the key on to "acc" and see if there is any section that is "highlighted" in dark background. If there is, that means the PFC is not getting reading fromn that particular sensor. It's funny that you have the CE light, all the PFC SR's we have seen doesn't have that problem although mine only shines the CE light when I am "on boost" while driving, and that has to do with diff. version PFC with the particular motor harness I have, one of those compatibility things.

I finally fixed it!! Guess what problem it was? I do not have the "Boost Control Kit" for the PowerFC and it can't read any signal for boost so the engine check light is on. I disabled the "boost control kit" in the Function menu and the light shuts off right away. http://www.freshalloy.com/

Yeah, I hear thats a tricky thing. It only works with the Apex boost control equipment. It can be confusing.
