I drove the EX again this weekend and, well, I'm kind of in love with it. I agree with most everything in this review. The only problem I have is the premium they want to charge over the sedan, when this is essentially just a hatchback version of the G. Of course, the salesdude did seem eager to make a sale (i.e. offering steep discounts).

I think that the EX offers a better driving experience than the G, especially if, for you, that includes comfort, smoothness, refinement and, of course, interior quality. So I don't mind the premium over the G. The G is a sportier vehicle however, so if you value that, then the G has an edge.

Good points, all. I'm probably whining because the price is a stretch for me.

Those pics are great of the DC/wheat. Too bad the residuals were not as good as I was hoping for. I went with a G37 and I'm happy with it, but the EX is a great ride. Love that interior and sporty exterior. Maybe when the G37 lease is up I'll look at it again. EX37 in the US by then?

Rico, as a former FXer, you'll also have to consider the new FX50 this summer. All the bells & whistles of the EX plus 390 HP & 62 cubic feet of cargo space!

Thanks for that site, I didn't know they were showing it yet. Love the new interior. It will be on my short list when the G37 list is up, but if gas is still crazy, I might be looking at FX35 (or FX37 by that time)?
