Hi, been reading all your posts and really getting stoked about buying an EX. Went over to the local infiniti lot and they have about 11 cars but the most common color is Scarlet silver, which looks very nice on this bright sunny day. The blue slate wasn't that dramatic and the tidewater looked ok. no blacks, DC or platinums on the lot.

If I buy this car, my wife will be all over it. Well it'll be hers. So I have seen some pretty pics on the DC, white, and black on this forum. any votes for the next best color? I kinda like the scarlet silver w/ chestnut.

Scarlet Silver with the Chestnut was my 2nd pick, but I never saw it on the lot. If you are looking for Navigation, I heard they are very hard to come by. I ended up with the DC because I figured there are plenty of silver cars on the road. But, the pinkish hue does give it a different look! Definitely a woman's car I think. Very very nice...

thanks exceptional women. EX will be 3rd car for us so my wife will be in it more than me so scarlet silver maybe good. also may look cleaner than the other colors. BTW, I want to post some of the pics I took at the lot but I am not allowed. How does someone become able to post pics?

thanks.

Hmmm, slambo, I'm not sure why you weren't able to post an image as an attatchment from your hard drive since I never do that & wasn't even aware that doing so was possible here, but did you try just inserting your image (uploaded from your pc to a free pic hosting site like tinypic.com or photobucket.com) using the picture icon above the reply box? Or just type: insert-the-url-of-your-uploaded-pic-in-here. Doing it that way definitely doesn't require senior membership here - I think my second post was a pic!

The only other thing I can think of which might have prevented you from posting your pics was that this software might not accept their particular file extension. According to the FAQ of this forum, these are the file exts that can be used:

I hope someone else helps you figure it out because you're right, we do need pics here of the other colors. I have seen the scarlet silver/chestnut combo in person, btw, & it's a knockout. I think your wife will LOVE it!

Meanwhile, until slambo gets those pics up, there's a video clip which offers a very good look at the silver/graphite combo in this

Aspiring polyglots will be thrilled to know that in russian subwoofer="subwoofer" & transmission is...."transmission". Whodathunk? ;-)

Very nice!!

Also, if you want to insert the picture instead of a link, just use the Insert Icon (5th icon from the right in the post menu) and the Direct Link url in Photobucket.

Voila!

I would love to see more of the pics you took, slambo, but your albums are private. Would you mind inserting them here like Cloud 9 did?

And, yeah, that's what she said.

Sorry, none of those on the lot. I am thinking one of the silvers would be very nice.

Can I say that u da man, slambo?

I really like the blue slate. It's understated, but I'm in the mood for that. Maybe with the stone interior. It'd be like my apartment. Or wardrobe.
