Pretty much every page you see on this search talks about rod ratio.

FYI rod ratio is the ratio of the length of the connecting rod to the stroke. It helps to determine/predict important engine performance characteristics.

wow, thanks for the intro to rod ratio. I have read a little bit now, and will continue to study it. I like learning more about engines.
