I just put in 2 12's in the trunk of my 98. I took both rear speakers out and put Dynamat on the trunk lid. The lid used to rattle a lot, but not anymore, Dynamat rocks! But then, my rear bumper is starting to rattle heavily, and I don't know how to Dynamat it. Has anyone done this before? Where else can I dynamat? The doors don't rattle (thank God) but there is buzzing in a lot of places, or maybe thats just me... http://www.freshalloy.com/ by the way, I have 2 JL Audio 12w3's in a ported box and they pound!

yes dynamat is good. im at about 60 or 70 square feet. To get the bumper you probably need 2 take it off and get some right where the parts meet up. otherwise just put it everywhere, like this

I used Brown Bread in my car, a lot of it.
It helps so much with the N1 sound, much quiter.

Orion XTR 1400 and HCCA 15 getting ready be installed.

Well, Dynamat is good and all, but Iv personally seen the stuff fall off and ruin panels, and even worse, fall off inside doors, and perminately adhere to both the window, and door. leaving the windows stuck down.

Key is putting it where it doesnt have a chance of ruining anything.

Thats why I juse Agent-X. Its kinda like a super thick latex paint, with all kinds stuff in it.

Theres some pics of it dried on my site:

Una, you have got to be kidding! Geez that's a lot of bass. What's your SPL? Man, that is so not my style, but I have to respect the engineering and planning that went into that. Did you weigh your car before and after? I bet you gained 200 lbs. At least. Time for turbo!

is it hard to take out the stock carpet ?<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial[/img]It was a big project, I had to take out the dash just to get the front part of the carpet out. That was a pain.
