Toyota has ran out of ideas. With the new LS and this, its just icing on the cake. But it looks better then the current camry's rear end for sure.

assuming that's what the real car will look like, i don't think that it looks as bad as the Max's tail end. i do see some similarities, but overall it doesn't look too bad

It doesn't look as bad or original as the Sentra's sad butt, the really sad Altima rear end or the odd Maxima rear. It's just boring.

I still like the Maxima's rear best.

looks like an Acura CL if you ask me.

Looks like the taurus rear tail lights, with Max rear/side tail light profile.

I agree with Zed...definately new Taurus.

Whatever it may resemble, I think it looks great. Very clean. Alot better than the current Camry... Now if Toyota can do something about the most boring of all interiors ever (that award going to the current Camry).

Makes sense to copy the Maxima's tail. It makes it seem like the Camry competes with the Maxima.

Well, you guys had your fun...pointing fingers and making fun, but it's over. I just heard that Toyota has decided to re-style it's rear, that's part of the reason why they are not giving any information about it not even at the NY auto show, Toyota's Japanese Design Headquarters is helping...I also heard that the Camry might now come with a STANDARD 3.0L V6 and 3.5L V6 as an option... [B] Can anyone confirm this??? [B]

I think they are back to the drawing boards cuz the Alty has them beat hands down. So I guess the boardmember's panties are wet.

I know that this is a Nissan forum, but I couldn't resist mentioning these pictures of the front and rear Toyota Mark II (a.k.a. FR Camry / Toyota Cressida in the 1980s), which look much better than what they say is being proposed for the next Camry.

WoW that rear is sweet! This looks very close to the Mag X pics of the New Camry could it be? The crease on the side is very close to the new altima too!
