Tool:
Nissan Special service tool. Nissan Consult 2 interacts with the car's ecu via the consult port. The Consult 2 can also connect to the OBDII port on OBDII cars.

Too bad for SR folks, you guys can't use it unless you wired the engine harness to work with the Consult port.

Where:
Nissan

Cost:
$4,000.00 and no, I'm not kidding.

...too bad it's only borrowed... But nice...

CJ-II (http://www.injectoclean.com/English/Products/CJ-II/cj-ii.html)

i played with this.
much more affordable.
though limited to obd-ii compliant vehicles, it was easy to use and similar to my fc commander.

huh, that's cool, now I have a use for my obsolite Palm III.

One thing that is nice about the consult is that I can check the ABS, Airbag, reset the ECU self learning curve.

But this CJ-II is not bad for a monitoring device... a bit nicer than the Techtom MDM-100.
