View Full Version : Kosei K1 (where to buy?) and Other option?

Two questions here really... I asked before what wheel was affordable yet decently light and at least 16x7... Kosei K1 was the response I got, but I have yet to see someone that offers them besides tirerack (and they only have the 15x7 in 4x114.3 now). So what to do? 5 lug conversion?

I have another wheel option that doesn't seem too bad considering the price-- RS Limited Concept Pro 16x7" (15 lbs is claimed but 16.5 is what I found elsewhere)-- 95 bucks and they don't look too bad. Anybody know anything about them?

Also, they come in three colors--White, Gun metal, or Silver (which isn't the same as polished aluminum I've heard?). I have a black fastback, and the only time I saw dark rims work on a black car before involved the tire having yellow text (makes the look, I tell you)... I'm wary of silver because I don't even know what that means. White seems an option. What's everyone else's opinion?

Those are the rims; they do come in 4x114.3 for 16x7" I asked.

White or silver will work fine, preferably white. Gunmetal will probably look like crap on a black car. Personally, I hate that look.

Can Tirerack have a set of Kosei's custom drilled for you? This is an option with some wheel manufacturers but not all.
