Check out these videos of an Altima SE killing a S2000. I posted this at Honda-Acura.net and all the honda boys finally shut up about the Altima being nothing.

This Atlima tears the stock S2K apart.

Holy $hit....That was some nice racing videos......From now on I am going to have some respect for those Mustang GTs.. http://www.freshalloy.com/ It takes a TurboCharge or Supercharged S2000 to beat it.....damn...Keep those nice videos coming..!! Your Altima is the $HIT~~ (In a Good Way!) http://www.freshalloy.com/

yes you gotta have respect for those very few names left on the American sports car class: Mustang, Camaro, Firebird, Corvette

cheap, fast, easy to modify.

you guys know, the main competitor to teh Z will be a mustang GT or Bullit
265 HP, under 30 grand

cool vids!

What is the new Altima se suppose to run? With a good driver a stock s2k is a 13.8-13.9 sec 1/4 mile car.

Some mags and such were never able to break below 14... only a couple did. You have to drive-it-like-you-had-it to get that type of performance out of one. Like drop the clutch @6000rmps and shift at 9000rpms. Few owners on the street are willing to do that to there new car. The Altima and GT have much more low end torque and don't have to be driven as hard to extract most of their capablity.

I think motor trend or car n driver quoted the altima at 14.6. It looks faster than that. Somebody correct me 14.6 is wrong.
