I'm having a little trouble figuring the best method to fix my problem. I went turbo on my ka, when rpm gets to around 2300 the power cuts out and the car starts to buck uncontrolably. Even out of gear it will only rev to that rpm then it cuts off. any thoughts would be appreciated.

It would help if you could share your setup with us, but it sounds like missfire to me. You should be running pfr6b ngk r plugs gapped to around .028.

Make sure the MAF is plugged in, and the wiring is ok. When the computer senses a problem with the MAF, it goes into failure mode and won't rev over 2400 rpm.

I agree with Jim as well. Check all the wiring directly associated with the MAS.

Boost leak......check IC plumbing.
How far from the turbo is the MAF, should be at least more than 12inches, 17 is recommended I beleive.

I put together that kit for him, but I didn't install it. It's a T4 setup on a revhard manifold with a blow through stock MAF. Almost exactly the same as my setup except for the intercooler. Aaron... you didn't tell me that it cuts out in neutral. Definately double check your MAF. Make sure that your installer soldered extension wires going to the MAF. Also, make sure the sensing element inside the MAF is clean. Spray it with some brake cleaner if need be. I told your installer that on the phone when I talked to him, but I don't know wheter or not he did it. If you get a chance, send me some detail pics of your setup. Maybe I can find something out of the ordinary.

i had the same problem; my hot intercooler pipe had popped off(i forgot to tighten it!) and was just sitting up against the power steering pump(not sure which pump). runs fine untill the car goes faster..
