I just picked up the new December SCC and on page 214 there's an article about three built-up Z's from Japan. I noticed that the middle one has the rims from the R34. I realize that in Japan these rims are probably dirt cheap, but just how much more would they cost over here and would they fit on my '92 240sx?

Well, they're 5-lug, so, no, they wouldn't fit http://www.freshalloy.com/ I'm not sure what size they are...18x8? 18x8.5? Something like that...anyway, I really doubt an 8" wide rim will fit on the front of an S13 (there's really not too much clearance between the wheel and the strut).

Ya I read further into the article and saw they were 18x8. Damn. If only they sold them in 17x7 I'd think about it. Oh well... $800 each is a bit much.

Actually, I did ask at my dealership about buying a set of 2000 Maxima SE rims (17x7) but they're pretty expensive too. And while I'm on the subject of rims, I had two of the stock rims on my '92 replaced and the dealership charged $450 (canadian) each. Luckily my insurance paid for it, but MAN! those are expensive!

If you really want Skyline Rims or other Skyline parts Email Karim at racer98@earthlink.net. He was parting out a few of them. Check out his website at http://nissan180.8k.com/. He also has SR20DET engines S13/S14/S15.

I know... I was just curious... Heck! If I had the cash to do half the stuff to my car that I want to then 5-lug conversion wouldn't be a big deal. http://www.freshalloy.com/ I'm a dreamer, that's all http://www.freshalloy.com/
