soko (aka soken) in Gardena <- southern california. has a website and quoted me $1700 complete ecu, mafs. $2300 for front clip. This was about 6 months ago. Maybe prices have changed. I live in Gardena so I could just pick it up. So if you want it shipped there will obviously be some freight charges. After you acquire a good engine, you'll probably want a front mount intercooler (used starion or new spearco or new japanese brand name intercooler $$$) and all the other typical goodies associated with a turbo motor. It all depends on how much power you want out of that sr. If you're willing to live with the stock sr20det power (who is, although it's not too bad) you'll need less. If you want to crank up the boost, you'll need the fmic, boost controller, guages, bov, maybe new brakes to handle the power, etc. etc. the list is almost endless. sigh http://www.freshalloy.com/

Check out Jeff Holden's SR FAQ: www.heavythrottle.com (http://www.heavythrottle.com)

Good place to start.

I know that you are looking for a cheap sr20det but I have one for sale. It is an s15 sr20det complete with the ecu, wiring harness, mafs, and sixspeed tranny. I am selling it for $6700. I bought it for $7000. It has been compression and leak tested too. http://www.freshalloy.com/
