1)Do you guys know what the weight balance of an SE is?

2)Has anyone ever pulled any G-tech G testing on it, and do you know what it pulls from the factory?

3)You guys know what the weight of the factory SE 16x8 (or was it 16x7) wheels are?

4)Has anyone ever pushed 250-350hp with the AT? I know I know, lame tranny, please forgive me http://www.freshalloy.com/

Thanks!

Oh one more thing, what do you think about these wheels on an S14? I'm thinking of either getting them Pearl white color matched to the body, or getting them glossy smoke colored (Kinda like the shadow chrome on the M5)

MT: 55/45
AT: 56/44

what are you talking about (pulls)?
Horsepower (SAE net) 155 hp @ 5,600 rpm
Torque (SAE net) 160 ft-lbs @ 4,400 rpm

3)You guys know what the weight of the factory SE 16x8 (or was it 16x7) wheels are?

16x6.5 ~18lbs give or take 2lbs that's a hellofa nice guess, huh...

I think he meant lateral acceleration.

Yup.

Well, if the stock wheels weigh about 18lbs, I know I won't be adding TOO much more weight when I get the aftermarket wheels. Those guys weigh about 19lbs for an 18x9.5

Even if the wheels weigh the same, a larger wheel will have higher rotational inertia (because the mass is concentrated farther out from the center). So its not as good as you think...but 19 lbs for an 18x9.5 is damn good. And the Kinesis rims look great. Too bad they're so damn expensive!

I know, but it's better than some of those 25-30 pounders I've come across!!

Eventually, my GF and I want to take it Autoxing. I'm thinking of putting the usual 235s or 245s up front and 265s or 275s in the rear.

I remember reading a stock S15 pulled, I think, like .95Gs. With a good set of tires, I'm sure the S14 isn't far behind. What is going to be REALLY interesting is seeing how it performs against my RX-7. Let me tell you, I really am impressed with the way the S14 handles on the flimsy 205s. Of course, other suspension fix-ups will be in order http://www.freshalloy.com/

I just wish the S14 had a higher than 120mph speedo http://www.freshalloy.com/. I know we can get 260+kph speedos for it, but in mph would be nice.

I remember a post about that before. Aren't the speedo's in the UK in mph?
