In my opinion, track racing is more fun... http://www.freshalloy.com/

It says your from San Bruno. Great, that's close. Where is there nearby to do autocrossing like that?

It looks like San Francisco Bay Area weather in those pics. Good for me. =]

alex, what's up with the chassis flex in your first picture (the sunset one) were your tower bars in at that time? it looks as if your front end is rolling and your rear end is level.

hahahaha you caught my "mistake"...

I ran that track event with my rear strut bars only... none in the front, as I had just changed my front rotors and spark plugs (3 days after I got my car back from a 4-month hibernation) and ran it at the track w/o the car being properly prepped...

well if that isn't a good visual testimony to the advantages of a strut tower bar, i don't know what is. for all you people out there that wonder if you can feel the difference, if it's actually worth it or if it really does anything, there you go. picture=evidence.

Tim,
Yes those were taking in the sf bay and yes it was at 3 COM as somebody mentioned. Go to the thread with the subject AUTO-X and you'll find all the info about auto-x in the bay. It has a link that I gave someone else so you can learn all about it. It's lots of fun and there is no other 240's out there so it would be nice to see more of them. All you see out there are those damn AE86 - better known as Corolla GT-S - or HACHI's.
Where are you from anyways?

why do you have hate for the AE86 Corolla? They are hella fast and hella amzaing at autocross.

you can delete your post if you find that it doesn't need to be there.

to help your sway problem, get some
¥anti-roll/sway bars. They really help your car remain neutral and return to neutral after hard cornering.
¥stiffer shocks and stiffer springs that will lower your car ~1.5 inches.

i have GAB adjustable rate shocks. they are real good.

Hey Guys! Just wanted to clear up a few things about the whole AE86's thing. Don't get me wrong, I like the AE86, that's all i'm usually around cuz my exboyfriend drives a AE92 with a J-Spec supercharged engine in it. So those are the people we usually hang out with, and I just wanted to see a few more 240's in the crowd so we can give them a little scare. HEHE! Well anyways hope you're not so offened, just love my 240 more than anything.

the only straight line i like is the kind with a turn at the end of it. 92 is okay, but 86 is still king of the winding road. so i guess sileighty would be prince or something, because hypercarrots... your s14 can be queen. hahahahaha!!!!

trailer queen! haha

86 is so old it would be emperor
S13s and S14s have their own (K)ing, (Q)ueen and (J)ack designations.
